IF YOU ARE SEARCHING FOR INFORMATION ABOUT CREATIVE LADIES NIGHT - THE WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN AND WHY OF AUSTIN’S ORGANIC NETWORKING GROUP FOR WOMEN IN CREATIVE FIELDS, YOU HAVE FOUND IT. WELCOME.
Founded in March of 2016 by Lauren Ramirez, Creative Ladies Night is a monthly event that rotates between homes, creative spaces, galleries, and shops around Austin. What began as a desire to draw together creative women that she respected and valued has blossomed into a thriving group of women who are committed to supporting, encouraging and inspiring one another at each meet up and through our online community.
Who can come to Creative Ladies Night? - Anyone is welcome, as long as you are a female, living in the Austin area and working in a creative field, either as a full time job or a side hustle.
What is Creative Ladies Night? (Do I need to bring art supplies with me?) - CLN is a “low-bar” women’s networking group. We get together to meet, encourage, connect and support one another in the way that women naturally do when they truly believe in community over competition. Some months include guest speakers or a hands on activity to spur our creativity, but generally the emphasis is on community building through time together. And no, you don’t need to bring art supplies with you. We just ask that you either bring a bottle of wine to share or another creative gal pal!
Where are the CLN events held? - Meet ups are held at a different spot around Austin each month, so to get the skinny on the next date and location, please follow us on social media or request to be added to the email list by sending us an email through the form below.
When are CLN events? - We generally meet on a weeknight from 5:30 - 8pm. Occasionally, there may be special events that fall outside this window, so follow along on social media to stay in the loop.
Why Creative Ladies Night? - Great question! There’s a lot we could say about this, but the gist is that unofficially we are a team, a tribe, a community, a pod, a resource library, a wealth of information for each other. And because having friends who understand you is cheaper than therapy. Come join us and see for your self!
